Messaging

Media Relations
- I created a full media kit and tactical writing materials for the Ragbaby Exchange, a nonprofit uplifting women and children of color. I streamlined their messaging to create written material catered to specific audiences.

- In-house and at boutique, mid-size and global level agencies, I’ve honed skills in market research, digital content managment, strategy development, media relations, and copywriting in B2B and B2C settings.

I created monthly content calendars for an education consultancy catered to a hyper-local audience and created and disseminated a monthly newsletter to get Newark parents the info they need.
Roots and Bridges
I saw that non-profits and social impact groups had big problems with their comms, but not the resources to solve them. My solution? Pro-bono comms coaching.
Agitate
Faced with 55+ chapters, 5,000 + members, & a 100 year old movement that needed a face lift, I put together messaging and voice guides, reframing the fight for the ERA as an intersectional movement.

In 4 weeks across Ireland following in the footsteps of Fredrick Douglass, exploring transnational leadership, I came away with a new love for the color green AND, more importantly, the inspiration for Agitate, mentioned above.
